Description

Make your own dried flower art with these handmade flower presses. The sturdy hardwood will hold and compress your flowers as they slowly dry into beautiful, one-of-a-kind works of art. All hardware (nuts and bolts) is included, as are the sheets of cardboard and parchment paper that you’ll need to sandwich several flowers together at once.

Instructions:

Prep those flowers

Insert your flowers between the pieces of parchment paper included with this kit. Then insert each layer of flowers and paper between the cardboard. Repeat that if you’d like to press more than one layer of flowers at a time.

Assemble it

The board with the painted design is the top, and the side with our logo and website address is the bottom. Insert the bolts (pointing up) through the holes in the bottom board, then set your entire cardboard-parchment paper combination on top of the bottom board. Add the top board, aligning the notched corners and sliding the bolts through. Then snug down the wingnuts (do not over-tighten — you don’t want to totally crush the flowers!).

Wait for it…

Depending on the type of flowers you are pressing, it may take anywhere between two weeks and eight weeks for them to be fully “done.” Don’t be afraid to experiment, and above all, have fun!
